Cost to Teachers

The cost of participation is $500 per course. For the Winter Quarter, invoices are mailed when a teacher is officially registered for a course and the payment is due on Friday, January 15, 2010.

If you are a certificated, full-time assigned CPS teacher in the elementary or middle schools, you may qualify for the CMSI Tuition Subsidy. If you are approved for this Subsidy, CPS will pay the SESAME Office the total amount of the your participation fee for a Math or Science Content-Class or the Methods course in the winter quarter. In the Winter Quarter, the following course will not be subsidized by the CMSI Tuition Subsidy: Early Adolescent Psychology. Teachers who apply for this Required Course will be considered Self Funded and will have to pay the $500 participation fee. Please be aware that the SESAME Office does not have permission to issue refund checks. If a situation occurs where a teacher has to drop a course after paying, then that balance will be applied to the following quarter.
