Cost to Teachers

The cost of participation is $500 per course. If you are paying for the course yourself, then you are considered a Self-Funded teacher. For the Winter Quarter, invoices are mailed when a teacher is officially registered for a course and the payment will be due on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. We can only accept check, money-order, or a cashier’s check.

Please understand that the SESAME Office does not have permission to issue refund checks. If a situation occurs where a teacher has to withdraw from a course after paying, then that balance will be applied to a future SESAME course.

CPS will no longer provide the tuition subsidy for teachers. Starting Winter 2012, teachers who wish to participate in the SESAME Program will have to self-fund their course. The participation fee will remain at our already low price of $500 per course.
