The walk from this hotel to the mathematics department is slightly less than 1.5 miles (each way).

Chicago Transit Authority bus #172 (click here for map and schedule) stops a few blocks from the Ramada (on E Hyde Park Blvd at East End) and proceeds to campus. The fare is $2 each way (exact change required).

International House provides dormitory-style accommodations that are much closer to campus (about an 8-minute walk).

• "Dorm rooms" ($57/night single) and "Guest rooms" ($67/night single or double) both have shared bath, but "Guest rooms" are somewhat nicer, including a queen bed and television.
