The 2008 Annual Cohen Prize Lecture will be given by Gregory F. Lawler, Professor of Mathematics and Statistics, on Thursday May 22 at 6:00 pm in Ryerson 352. More details can be found by downloading the poster (doc file).

Alexander Beilinson, the David and Mary Winton Green University Professor and Vladimir Dinfeld, the Harry Pratt Judson Distinguished Service Professor in the Department of Mathematics of the University of Chicago have been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
