This is the page for Calculus II: Math 152, section 33, taught in Winter, 2007. I taught 152 again in Fall 2007, but all information for that course was posted on Chalk.

Syllabus

My office hours are Tuesday, 4:30-6:00 and Thursday 1:00-2:30 in Math/Stat 302.
Our VCA's office hours are Fridays, 1:00-2:30 in C-Shop.
Problem sessions will be held on Mondays, 7-8 pm, in Eckhart 308.

The second midterm will be Friday, February 23, covering the rest of chapter 5, everything we cover from chapter 6, and 7.1.

Choose one of these two: 4.5: 38 OR: A woman is standing on the shore of a circular lake. She wants to get to the point on the shore directly opposite her current position. The lake has radius 2 mi. She can row a boat at a speed of 2 mph, or walk at a speed of 4 mph. (She's allowed to do some combination: row to some point on the shore and then walk the rest.) How should she proceed?
4.8: 28. (Remember: No calculators on the test!)

Keep in mind that no calculators will be allowed on the test, so it is in your best interest to learn to do these problems without one.
