TEST info Only reasons involving major medical incidents, grave family emergency and university athletics (with appropriate documentation) are valid excuses for missing a midterm. Whenever possible, advanced notice must be provided.

Midterms: the first midterm will take place April 25 during class hours. The second midterm will take place May 23 during class hours.

General Policy: There will be two midterms and a final exam. You are very much encouraged to work with each other on homework, but you should write up your own stuff away from others. Here is the score breakup:

Mid-terms: 30%
Final Exam: 30%
Quizzes: 10% (given in tutorials)
Homework: 30%

Office hours: 3-5:00 M, 10:30-11:30 AM F,
