Uniformly expanding invariant foliations
We discuss different ways to measure how a diffeomorphism
expands an invariant foliations and relations between them. The
examples we have in mind are hyperbolic and partially hyperbolic
diffeomorphisms. Some applications are the construction of
non-absolutely continuous foliations with non-compact leaves and the
study of continuity properties of entropy for partially hyperbolic
diffeomorphisms with low dimensional center.
