Course Information

Classes: Mon/Wed/Fri 9:30 - 10:20, HM103.
Problem Session: Wednesday 7-8, Eckhart 312.

Textbook: Salas, Hille, Etgen: Calculus, One Variable, Tenth Edition.

Homework: There will be bi-weekly homework assignments. These will be posted online.
In class midterms: Monday of week 4, October 15th and Friday of week 7, November 9th.
Final: Friday, December 7th from 8 - 10; the room is TBD but will most likely be HM103.
Assessment: Homework is worth 20%. The final is worth either 50% (and each midterm worth 15%), or the final is worth 30% (and each midterm worth 25%). I will use whichever scheme benefits you the most.

Background: I will assume that you've seen Chapters 1-3, Sections 4.1-4.4, Chapter 5 and Sections 7.1-7.5.
