Homework: Homework will be assigned almost every class period and will be posted on the webpage. They are due on Thursdays at the beginning of the class meeting. Everyone must write up their own solutions, in their own words. Copying is not allowed. Homeworks will be returned the following week. The lowest homework score will be dropped.

Exams: There will be 1 midterm and a final exam. The midterm will be on Tuesday of the 5^th week (April 25^th) . The date of the final exam is set by the registrar and cannot be changed under any circumstances.

Grading: The different portions of the course will be weighted as follows

Homework	-	20%
Midterm	-	30%
Final Exam	-	50%
